Srzly Cakes!
"But seriously, who doesn't love a good cake?"

All About Srzly Cakes
How we started
Hello, world! My name is Sarah Zeller and I would love to make a Srzly awesome cake for you! Before I convince you to order a cake, I would like to take a little time to introduce myself and tell the story of how Srzly Cakes came into existence.
As a child, my aunt would always make the best cakes! I loved them and eventually I became interested in how to make them, myself. My aunt, like every other human being, started aging, and different things started affecting her mind and her ability to do things. Before I knew it, she could rarely ever make her amazing desserts anymore. However, I luckily spent a good bit of time with her and she taught me how to make her family-famous "Birthday Cake Icing" and her wonderful cakes.
As I got older, I of course began having serious stresses, relationships, and worries. Like any other teenage girl, I had my heart broken by a boy of which I had been together with for 2 long years and with whom I had planned the rest of my life. During the heartbreak, I baked ALL the time. Through that, I realized that baking was an outlet for me.
I baked when I was sad, upset, stressed, worried, or just bored. Baking wasn't just something I did for pride, but for my enjoyment and happiness. It was not only calming, but delighting, too. Baking transformed from just an outlet into a pure passion for me.
With such a strong passion for baking, I dreamed of owning my own bakery one day. It seemed so far away, and almost unattainable. I relentlessly baked, however.
While I was waiting for my dreams to come true, I fell in love with my very best friend. The Lord worked out my life beautifully. He took my broken heart and gave it to someone who could mend it back together and take care of it. After dating for a while, Preston finally proposed to me!
I was in my first college English class at the time, and one of our assignments required an additional link. Since I loved to bake, I decided to make a Google site to display my work. I had to think of a name for my "business", so I started brainstorming. Finally, I decided on "SRZly cakes!" During my second semester, I decided to make a Wix site instead of Google!
As stated before, I was engaged to Preston during that time. My future initials would be "SRZ", so that's how I came up with the SRZ- part of SRZly. I LOVED the idea, so I stuck with it, and that is how Srzly Cakes! came into existence. :)
